Gus Savarese, Executive Chef

City Kitchen Executive Chef Gus Savarese’s passion for the culinary arts started in one of the greatest food cities in the USA- New Orleans, LA. 

Chef Gus spent his formative cooking years in New Orleans stirring, chopping, spooning, basting and creating countless delicious meals. With this valuable and diverse experience, eventually he worked his way up to the coveted position of Chef de Partie at the famous restaurant landmark, Commander’s Palace.

With his move to Dallas, Gus diversified and gained more depth to his culinary knowledge by working for selected large and well-established catering, hotel, and food contractors, including Reata, Omni Hotel, Whole Foods Market, Aramark, and Central Market. 

Gus leads our well-established culinary team here at City Kitchen. With many years of combined experience, together they all form a strong team that supports our commitment to our valued clients.

The Management Team

Since our beginnings 15 years ago, City Kitchen as grown over the years to become one of the leading catering and event companies in the DFW Metroplex. Many of the same staff members from the beginning are still with us today.
As we grew our business and improved our operations, we have added key personnel in sales, finance, marketing, and management. In addition, the core City Kitchen team has cultivated reliable vendors and other key business partners along the way.
Today, we have 25+ dedicated employees in food production and business development capacities. The goal has always been to keep improving and delivering what our customers have come to expect from the City Kitchen team: Quality, Consistency, Depth of knowledge, Complete Customer Satisfaction.
